Mimosa pudica-an Important Medicinal Plant: A Review of Its Folklore Medicine and Traditional Uses

ABSTRACT:

Ancient days peoples are purely depends on herbal drugs. Why because at that time allopathic drugs are not available for peoples. Now a days both ayurveda and allopathic drugs are used. some chronic diseases are completely not eradicated by allopathic drugs. For this reason ayurvedic drugs are more preferred than allopathic drugs. In India 3000 plants used for the medicinal value. In general 6000 medicinal plants in India are in use in traditional, folklore and used as a herbal medicine. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review in ayurveda in the pharmacological aspects of mimosa pudica. This plant mainly use ful for the various physiological activities are like vatha diseases, blood purify the, rectify the menstrual problems, controls the diabeties, specifically used for piles, filariasis, skin diseases, antidarrhoeal property, heart stoke respiratory tract diseases are completely eradicated.

INTRODUCTION:

For loss semen:

In our body over production of heat causes release of semen like water exerted through urine due to this problems loss flesh and lean persons are developed along with suffering with body pains for this reason this plant protect loss of semen. Mimosa pudica seeds are collect to roast seeds and then grind it .collect powder and prepared the tablet size of pills. Such pills are daily twice morning and evening swallow it. then rectify the loss of semen.

Stopping of semen:

Mimosa seed powder grind to collect and mixed with mishri to prepare mixture of powder form. That powder daily twice with water consumed it completely prevent loss of semen and strengthen the pennies dys function.

Loose of chest:

Momosa plant completely dried under shade condition and grind it make the powder mix the aswag and powder and preserved it .before sleeping with water make the paste and applied on chest area after some days continuing this process immediately stiffness will come to the chest.

Diarrhoea and piles:

Momosa plant leaves ,flower roots ,branches, are taken to add five times water in another and after stirring a keep it a side and after formation of clear water collect the another beaker dry under sun light some of the water portion evaporated. Remaining amount is white powder formed under bottom of beaker. Collect that powder take little amount of medicament mixed with sugar portion with waste consumed it daily two times then controlled the diarrhoea and piles.

Hydrocile:

In testis formation of water and gas either one side of testis or two sides of testis swelled automatically loose the testicular nerves. Due to this reason unbearable pain will come. Pain reduction purpose mimiso plant leaves collect prepare the paste and applied on swelling area of testis maintain the up to one day. Automatically mimosa plant nature is constricted property produced in testis.

Traditionally whenever Indian peoples are during diseased time allopathic drugs will take but such drugs not given permanent curative effect. Herbal medicine play crucial role in chronic diseases. World is endowed with a rich wealth of medicinal plants. Medicinal plants also play an important role in the lives of rural people, particularly in remote parts of developing countries with few health facilities. The present review reveals that Mimosa pudica. The plant has been studied for their various pharmacological activities like black hair, deaf, skin diseases, anti diarrhea, piles problems, increase the stiffness of chest, stoppage of semen, prevent the loss of semen.
